X Factor winner shares the holiday magic

SAMANTHA Jade has a lot to celebrate this Christmas as she releases her debut Christmas album The Magic Of Christmas through Sony Music Entertainment Australia.

The album is packed with festive favourites including I’ll Be Home For Christmas, White Christmas and Silent Night, conveying the joy and warmth of the holiday.

In addition, fans are treated to three new Christmas-inspired tracks, including title track The Magic of Christmas Time, featuring her long-time friend and mentor Guy Sebastian, and Home – a track she wrote herself.

“Christmas is my favourite time of year, and spending Christmas at home with my loved ones has always been a precious tradition for me. I hope my fans find the same joy sharing this music with their families and friends,” said Samantha, whose full name is Samantha Jade Gibbs.

Coinciding with the release of the album and in the spirit of the holiday, Samantha Jade announced her involvement with The Salvation Army as its 2018 Christmas ambassador, helping support the organisation’s charity work this festive season. Christmas is the busiest time of year for The Salvos, who will distribute 500,000 gifts and toys and serve more than 160,000 meals to those in need.

Seeing the work of The Salvation Army has inspired Samantha Jade to volunteer for The Salvos and help spread joy across the country during the festive season.

“I feel extremely proud to be affiliated with The Salvation

Army for another year as their Christmas ambassador,” the X Factor winner said.

“The work that they do for families in need throughout the year and especially during the festive season is remarkable and extremely moving.

“The spirit of Christmas should be shared with all and I’m so pleased to help The Salvos achieve this.”

Samantha Jade’s album features a bonus track, titled This Candle Time of Year, which was inspired by The Salvos and recorded with a Salvation Army choir.

The song is a beautiful Christmas anthem and testament to the work of The Salvation Army.
